Greater St. Louis Honor Flight

A nonprofit organization

Greater St. Louis Honor Flight honors St. Louis area Veterans' service to our country by providing an all-inclusive trip to Washington, DC to visit the memorials built in their honor. Hundreds of Volunteers help us as we take a simple act of recognition and thanks and create a community experience of patriotism and remembrance.

Highlights of our one-day trip include visits to the World War II Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, and the Vietnam Memorial. We visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery and also the Lincoln Memorial, and the Veterans experience many other surprises along the way. Our Welcome Home celebration is unrivaled in its patriotic enthusiasm.

Everywhere we go, civilians take time to acknowledge and honor the men and women on our trips. The Veterans and their families are grateful and moved by the recognition which is, in many cases, long overdue. We at Greater St. Louis Honor Flight, are humbled to hear our Veterans often say, "That was the best day of my life."
