La Voûte is St. Louis' newest hub for the marching arts and offers a variety of opportunities for local artists to flourish through our education and performance programming.
Our Summer Intensive Series is offered between May - September each year and provides a creative outlet to aspiring color guard performers. Participants choose from varying class levels (Beginner, Intermediate, and Professional) offered for dance, flag, rifle, and sabre training. Each class offers technical, performance, and choreographic challenges geared toward the performer's skill set. La Voûte also offers a Masterclass Series between December - April each year. Participants are offered the opportunity to take class (contemporary, jazz, ballet, modern, Pilates, musical theatre, etc.) with a professional dancer from the St. Louis community alongside cast members of the current La Voûte Performance Ensemble and La Voûte Artistic Collective.
La Voûte Performance Ensemble hosts auditions for the competitive winter guard season each year in September. Eligible cast members (ages 18-25) exemplify professional skills in movement, flag, and/or weapon (rifle, sabre) training. LVPE schedules their preseason rehearsals between October - December and their performance schedule spans from January - April. The cast performs locally under the scope of the Mid Continent Color Guard Association (MCCGA) as well as nationally via Winter Guard International (WGI).
La Voûte Artistic Collective is a non-competitive training program focused on providing aspiring color guard performers with opportunities to continue building upon their technical and performance skills. Throughout their season, LVAC will work alongside La Voûte Artistic Staff as well as select cast members of La Voûte Performance Ensemble to expand their scope of fundamental ability, learn existing repertoire, and produce new choreography. In addition to consistent training, the Artistic Collective will represent La Voûte through performance exhibitions and community outreach events.
