Lewis and Clark Habitat for Humanity is a Christian-based nonprofit housebuilding ministry that actively reaches out into the community to build homes for local families in need of decent, affordable housing. The applicant families must be income qualified (Up to 80% AMI), be willing to volunteer sweat equity hours in the building of the home, and have the ability to make affordable monthly mortgage payments. The monthly mortgage payments are recycled to build affordable housing for other families in the community. To date, Lewis and Clark HFH has built over 60 homes.
