The American Youth Foundation is celebrating 100 years of providing transformational programs for young people from diverse backgrounds through outdoor summer camp experiences. Our camps, located on the lakeshore of western Michigan and in the wooded hillsides of New Hampshire, inspire self-confidence and ensure a sense of belonging for our participants. In our programs, young leaders embark on a journey of self-discovery. Whether sleeping in an open-air cabin in the woods for the first time, experiencing a high ropes challenge course or jumping into a lake on a hot summer day with new friends, our participants are growing and pushing their limits in a supportive environment.
