Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County

Every kid deserves a place. A place to feel safe. A place to feel connected. A place to belong. Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County (BGCSTC) provides such places — where kids can go after school and during the summer to learn, grow, and reach their full potential beyond the classroom. BGCSTC is the oldest youth-serving organization in St. Charles County. Since 1955 BGCSTC has been a cornerstone of the St. Charles community, now serving third-generation Club families. Children aged 5-18 from St. Charles, Lincoln, Warren, and St. Louis County attend daily after-school or summer services. At the Club, we emphasize Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles which provide a platform for helping all kids build the skills and relationships needed to achieve a great future.

When kids are at the Club, parents stay employed and engaged in their children(s) lives. This ensures kids have stability in their lives, and when kids have stability and consistency, they have more of a chance to be successful at school and home. The Club and the programs provided help enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Summer Camp at BGCSTC gives youth a summer to remember filled with friends, outside adventures, and high yield learning activities. The goal is to provide youth with a diverse range of experiences that will help them grow and develop in a variety of ways. In addition to high-quality summer camp programming, field trips, and engaging guest speakers, Club members receive breakfast, lunch, and a snack during Summer Camp. For many Club members, the Club is the only source of consistent food, especially during school breaks.  

BGCSTC believes every child should have access to safe, affordable programming during the summer months, which is why we strive to keep our summer camp costs as low as possible. Families pay only $135 a week, which includes two meals and snacks, field trips, programming, and so much more. However, there is still a gap between what families pay and the actual cost of running the camp.
