Camp Wartburg

A nonprofit organization

Camp Wartburg is an appealing, low-key and safe place-a welcoming natural setting for new and unique adventures and moments of prayerful reflection. Visitors can take part in a variety of summer camps, four-season outdoor education events for organized groups and schools and year-round facility rentals for one-day and overnight retreats, family reunions and other events. We offer a high ropes course, zip line, outdoor climbing wall, a full gymnasium in our recreation center, as well as an indoor climbing wall in this facility. Our campers may participate in these activities, as well as archery, canoeing, caving, and swimming.

Camp Wartburg is a ministry of Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois, a leading provider of a comprehensive range of community-based social services. They annually improve the well-being of more than 40,000 people statewide by nurturing and protecting children, strengthening families and transforming communities. Since 1963, Camp Wartburg has served St. Louis and Southern Illinois.
