Divine Nest

Divine Nest’s mission is to help restore hope in children’s lives impacted by foster care.  

It’s incredibly hard for children who enter the foster care system having lost everything and everyone they know. The moment a child enters the foster care system Divine Nest is there to provide support and help all the way to when they return home or find a forever family with another caregiver! Here are the different ways Divine Nest is helping make a difference. 

Divine Nest's first program is to recruit safe and nurturing families for foster care and adoption. We want to increase the number of families who become licensed for foster care or approved for adoption. Our goal is to reduce the amount of time it takes for a child to be placed into a home after coming into foster care.

Divine Nest's second program is to equip families for foster care and adoption by facilitating training with a trauma informed focus. We want to increase caregiver's parenting skills through quality training. Our goal is to better prepare caregivers to handle behaviors related to trauma.

Divine Nest's third program is to support foster and adoptive families. We want to reduce the number of families who feel isolated, not supported, or lacking meaningful community with other foster and adoptive families. Our goal is to reduce the number of placement changes that occur for kids placed into families that utilize our services.
