$500 Goal

25,000 Kids and Counting
Do the Right Thing of Greater St. Louis is a police-backed, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that recognizes the positive behaviors and actions of area children. The program has attracted more than 25,000 nominations since its inception in 1994, and all nominated children are presented with a recognition package at their school. Among the hundreds nominated, 10 standout stories are spotlighted by First Alert 4 News each month at a formal awards ceremony hosted by our Law Enforcement partners.  Every single child nominated for an act of great character, friendship, personal improvement, positive community impact, or life-saving heroics is honored.  Monthly, judges choose winners for the in-person ceremony, and all other nominees are recognized at their schools.  Every winner receives a t-shirt so everyone knows they are a winner, a personalized certificate, and other goodies to make the winner realize how special and proud we are as a community of their impressive acts!
