Our program began in the spring of 2008 and we are still an all volunteer organization. We have no paid employees and our volunteer outreach, ridership and community support has grown every season. This spring we are hoping to accommodate 85 riders and keep 135 volunteers moving around our indoor arenas, miles of trails and sensory course. We operate a spring 10 week program and a fall 10 week program. Our riders health does not allow for riding in extremes of heat or cold. Each season ends with a fun activity of either a "Rodeo" in the spring or a family hayride in the fall. Community organizations, schools and churches help us set up and take down after each 10 session.
In partnership with the community, serve Children, Adults, and Veterans, from the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area, with physical or occupational needs build a positive self-concept and support their families with respite by providing personalized equine assisted therapy, at no cost.
