Home Sweet Home is a nonprofit furniture bank that aims to provide under-served families with basic household furnishings, improving the quality of their lives and giving them a sense of pride. This Give STL Day, the organization has a special focus on raising funds for the most essential furniture item: a bed.

Their goal is to raise $20,000 to provide under-served families in St. Louis with beds, making dreams come true for kiddos in the community. Since the organization's inception in 2015, they have provided over 7,000 beds to under-served families in the St. Louis area. However, the need remains significant, as nearly 20,000 children in the community still lack a bed of their own.

A bed is more than just a piece of furniture; it’s a sanctuary where children can feel safe and secure and imagine a brighter future. New mattresses offer these children a chance to dream big and wake up ready to tackle the day with joy and enthusiasm. Quality sleep is fundamental to their growth, academic success, and well-being. By supporting this meaningful cause, you enable young dreamers to flourish, helping to build a world where every child feels loved and supported. 

Your donation can make a tangible difference:

• $500 provides mattresses for a family of five.

• $250 provides mattresses for a mother and her child.

• $100 supplies a twin bed to a child in need.

• $50 fuels one truck for a day of delivering mattresses.
