Lexie's Love

After being diagnosed with Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia, Lexie underwent rigorous treatment that included countless shots, tests, and medications, requiring visits to the vet weekly, if not daily.  We were fortunate to afford the medical care she needed, allowing us to focus all our support on Lexie's recovery and giving her the strength to fight.  A year and a half later, she was taken off all medications and the prognosis was positive.

Throughout her treatment, we witnessed other pet owners facing heartbreaking decisions about their animals' medical care.  Many families suffered, unable to afford the necessary treatment to ease their companion's pain.  This experience fueled our determination to help leading to the creation of Lexie's Love

Incorporated as a Missouri nonprofit in October 2018, Lexie's Love aims to assist families in covering unforeseen veterinary expenses when they might otherwise be unable to do so.  Through our Grant Program, eligible families can receive a grant of up to $500, which is paid directly to their veterinarian for the necessary treatment of their companion animals.

True to our mission, 100% of each dollar raised by Lexie's Love goes to our Grant Program.  This approach allows us to assist as many families as possible each year, supporting both those in need and their loyal companions.
