The LGB Courage Coalition is a lesbian and gay advocacy group committed to promoting evidenced-based medical care for all, ending the medicalization of sex nonconformity, safeguarding homosexual rights, and building a pathway back for LGB individuals who have undergone medicalization.

As an advocacy and educational organization we focus on creating immediate changes that will impact those being harmed. We support legislative efforts across the country, including here in Missouri, to stop the use of puberty blockers, cross sex hormones, and surgery.
We are non partisan and work to educate the public and lawmakers on the harms of these ill-conceived interventions. We also focus on the three primary organizations still promoting these harmful practices- WPATH, the Endocrine Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics- through direct actions to reach medical providers.
As an LGB organization, we recognize the regressive stereotypes that transition is based on. We also recognize and support sex nonconformity as a typical experience of LGB adults.

We believe that no child in the United States should be subjected to the harms caused by puberty blockers, cross sex hormones, or surgery and that no child could ever be born in the wrong body.
We testify for and educate on:
Restrictions to puberty blockers, cross sex hormones, and surgery.
Supporting detransitioners, including extending medical malpractice periods.
Supporting sex based safe spaces for women, including in sports.
Supporting impacted families, parents, and young people.
Supporting the basic rights of LGB adults to participate fully in society, including employment, family life, and housing.
