MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries, annually serving more than 11,000 individuals, is a non-profit agency providing employment services at 42 career centers throughout 93 counties in the bi-state area of Missouri and Southern Illinois. MERS Goodwill also operates six Excel Center Adult High Schools in Missouri ( 2 of which are located right here in St. Louis) providing students an opportunity to earn an actual diploma (not GED). Adults in Missouri over 21 can start right where they left off in high school, taking only the credits/classes that they need to graduate. Students are assigned a life coach to help them with any barriers they have to getting their diploma. Graduates are also offered career exploration, industry training certifications or assistance with college enrollment.

The Excel Centers have short 8 - 10 week terms with day and evening classes to make it convenient for those in the workforce. The Excel Centers also provide transportation assistance and FREE on-site child care.
