Missouri Veterans Endeavor

A nonprofit organization

Missouri Veterans Endeavor (MOVE) stands out as the sole provider of long-term supportive housing for Veterans and their families experiencing homelessness in the Greater St. Louis area. At MOVE, once Veterans and their families are enrolled, they collaborate closely with our Clinical Care Manager to tackle the root causes of their homelessness, empowering them to secure stable, permanent housing within the broader community.

Uniquely independent of government funding, MOVE relies on the generous support of local contributors and corporate and private foundations. This independence allows us the flexibility to tailor our services specifically to the needs of Veterans, ensuring they receive the most effective support without bureaucratic constraints.

Since our inception, MOVE has made significant strides in supporting our Veterans: housing over 250 Veterans, connecting more than 1,000 Veterans with vital community resources, and facilitating employment for over 175 Veterans.

Additionally, MOVE is proud to offer Valor Harbor, a pioneering program that provides barrier-free talk therapy to any Veteran, Service Member, or self-identified family member. This initiative underscores our commitment to addressing mental health needs and supporting the holistic well-being of our Veterans and their families.
