Monarch Immigrant Services, formerly known as Bilingual International Assistant Services, was founded by refugee women in 2002 and has provided wrap-around mental health and social services to underserved foreign-born communities in St. Louis for the last 22 years. Our multilingual, professional staff offers a wide range of support to this community, free of charge, including clinical mental health services to children and adults, citizenship and legal services, interpretation/translation, case management, health insurance counseling and enrollment, peer health coaching, and the state's first and only multicultural senior center specifically for older immigrants/refugees - St. Louis International Senior Center.

We serve over 3,200 participants every year, and we continue to grow and adapt to meet the needs of the communities that now call St. Louis home. As we face a hostile climate for immigrants and refugees, we look to the St. Louis community to help us welcome and support them. We will continue to accept new challenges and provide needed resources to New Americans still struggling to find solid footing. We need your help to do so.
