St. Louis Sabres Women's Rugby Club

A nonprofit organization

The St. Louis Women's Rugby Club was formed in 1972 by wives and girlfriends of the former St. Louis Rambler Rugby Club and are one of the oldest women's clubs in the United States and were the DII Women's National Runners Up in 2018. We work with local colleges to develop skills for rugby and sportsmanship, volunteer at the Girls on the Run 5K, building support for women in sports. We are an inclusive and diverse team including team members ranging from college students to working moms!

Mission

Our mission is to empower women and girls through the sport of rugby. Our club is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive community where women of all ages and backgrounds can come together to learn and play rugby, develop leadership skills, and build lifelong friendships, as well as give back to the community. By empowering women and girls through rugby, we hope to inspire the next generation of female leaders who will make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
