Our goal is to provide a supply of those basic essential items of a newborn to families needing assistance (about 150 items like diapers, baby wipes, clothing, books, blankets, etc).
We also advocate the "Safe Sleep" concept for all newborns. On a limited basis we also provide playards (aka pack and plays). For legal reasons we cannot accept donations of used playards.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization we receive no governmental funding of any kind, are not associated with any religious affiliation, and proudly proclaim that we are a 100% volunteer organization committed to assisting deserving families in the St, Louis area region.
Sweet Babies provides families with a newborn child needing some basic items of necessity with those items to keep their babies warm, comfortable and safe upon discharge from the hospital (SSM Health - St. Mary's Hospital St. Louis and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital). We accomplish our mission implementing mutiple programs.
