Craft Alliance

A nonprofit organization

What We Do:

Craft Alliance has been empowering people of all backgrounds to make, share, and love craft since 1964. As the premier craft organization in the region, Craft Alliance helps unleash creativity and nurtures a vibrant craft community through expert programs and resources centered in Saint Louis.

Our hands-on classes provide guidance from professional artist faculty and a community of peers to grow with, in state-of-the art blacksmithing, ceramics, fibers, glass, metals, print & paper, and woodcraft studios. Our engaging exhibitions, events, and community programs foster creativity at every level, making craft accessible to all.

When you support Craft Alliance, you sustain a nationally recognized organization, transform lives, strengthen our community, and inspire future generations of makers.

Mission

Craft Alliance is a nonprofit art center dedicated to nurturing creativity and engagement, educating and enriching our community through contemporary craft.

Empowering the Community Through Craft

At Craft Alliance, we believe in the power of craft to bring people together, inspire creativity, and foster a sense of belonging. Our community programs are designed to make contemporary craft accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background, or experience. Through these initiatives, we aim to promote cultural enrichment, provide opportunities for skill development, and strengthen the bonds within our diverse community.

We are committed to partnering with local schools and organizations to bring hands-on craft experiences to children, teens, and adults in our community. Our dedicated artists work closely with students to create art, foster personal growth, and engage the broader community.
