The December 5th Fund

A nonprofit organization

OUR GOAL IS TO GIVE FAMILIES DEALING WITH CANCER ONE GREAT DAY.

We aim to provide a day free from worry and burdens to the families we help - a day where they can just enjoy being together, taking in all the small moments. Our passionate and caring team meticulously plans out a day of memorable moments for a family dealing with cancer that often prove to be nothing short of amazing. We take the time to learn about each family - what they enjoy doing and what would be meaningful to them - so we can build in experiences they will remember forever.

While the family is out enjoying their day, our team of local volunteers and businesses across the region make sure the family comes home to a pleasant and stress-free surprise. It could be a perfectly manicured lawn, a clean and organized garage, or a backyard oasis where they can escape the day-to-day burdens that can pile up when you're trying to provide care for someone dealing with cancer.

After their Great Day, our D5F families are set up with our Helping Hands support plan which can include a variety of services such as house cleaning, meal prep, and laundry, so the families can focus on their loved one's health and not a "to-do" list.

The December 5th Fund works to create lasting memories, long after the burden of cancer is gone, and we hope you do too.
