Facts About Our Funding

• Did you know that the total federal funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) costs each American taxpayer only $1.60 per year? Most households spend more on that in a single week for one streaming service…and that’s with ads.  
• For Nine PBS, those federal dollars from CPB represent 13% of our annual funding.
• Each year, 86% of Nine PBS’s funding comes from the St. Louis region and viewers like you.
