Preston Community Garden is making a positive impact by lowering obesity rates in adults and children, decreasing crime by providing an alternative outlet for youth, promoting better mental health because gardening is therapeutic and it instills community pride by beautifying a blighted area. We donate all produce grown to help residents that reside in food deserts.
Our mission is to promote a better quality of life by providing a safe and peaceful place where people of all ages can connect through cultivating.
Our vision is to ensure that the great people of East St. Louis and surrounding areas have access to fresh produce while strengthening relationships with others in the community.
