The St. Louis Arc has been providing essential services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families for almost 75 years. The St. Louis Arc has evolved from a grass-roots family organization to a leader in the disability services field providing programs, resources, support, networking, and advocacy that impact the lives of people across the lifespan and in every area of life.

The St. Louis Arc provides a full range of high-quality services and supports to more than 4,500 children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. Our services include early intervention therapies, respite care, family education and support, leisure and recreation, adult day and active living programs, vocational training, supported employment, supported living, prevention, and advocacy.

Mission

The Mission of the St. Louis Arc is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to lead better lives by providing a lifetime of high-quality services, family support and advocacy. We are also guided by our core beliefs of Respect, Collaboration, and Empowerment.
