St. Louis Senior Dog Project, incorporated in 2001, has rescued more than 6,500 dogs and found them new homes. We spay/neuter all our dogs, update their vaccinations, microchip, and provide them with any other needed care, including heartworm treatment, dental care and surgery for broken bones, bladder stones, tumors and other conditions. We are an all volunteer, foster-based rescue group. Volunteers foster the dogs in their homes and help with other activities. We have no paid staff.

Mission

The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the state of Missouri. We are an all volunteer organization that rescues dogs of all ages, but especially dogs 5 years of age and older, and we promote the adoption of older dogs.
