We are excited to expand the services we can provide to the local community. We plan to network with other local shelters to provide necessary education regarding the importance of spay/neuter, vaccinations, training and pet wellness. We also plan to work with non-pet organizations to serve pet owners who find themselves in urgent personal situations and require support to keep their pets. We are part of the Best Friends Organization, working toward a goal of expanding "no kill" status in communities throughout the country.
Our mission is to work to end pet homelessness in Warren County. To this end we will:
- Provide community programs that educate for healthy and responsible pet care to keep pets and their people together.
- Spay/neuter/microchip for pet population control and safety.
- Help lost/found pets find their homes and provide shelter and care for dogs and cats until they find a home.
- Partner with other shelters and rescues when in need and collaborate on community programs.
