Winter Opera Saint Louis

Our work features nationally and internationally known artists, performing classic operas in their original languages, with English subtitles. We also highlight local performers and strengthen the local artist community year-round through community outreach programs and workshops. We are committed to enhancing public appreciation and support of opera in St. Louis and to preserving the beauty of this art form for generations to come.

Our office also includes an Alterations and Custom Sewing Shop and a rehearsal hall and studios available for rent for both short and long term needs. Currently, we are home to a drummer, an acting coach, Really Big Coloring Books, Fly North Music & Fly North Studios, and ballet company, To The Pointe, along with multiple local singer, musicians, and theatre companies that use our large rehearsal hall for rehearsals, performances, and classes.

Give STL day helps us raise funds for our educational outreach program, Operatoons. A long-time dream of our founder and director, Gina Galati, Operatoons, when completed, will be an interactive learning experience about operatic and classical music with teacher and student resources. Our first promotional item for Operatoons is a Coloring & Activity book! The coloring & activity book contains redurings from our past productions such as La Boheme, Carmen, and The Mikado.
