EVERYONE DESERVES HIGH QUALITY PARKS

St. Louis County Parks comprises some of the region’s greatest collection of natural and historical treasures. Established in 2015, the Parks Foundation bridges the gap between the public funds available and the necessary dollars needed to care for, restore, and enhance the county’s extensive network of 73 parks that span over 12,000 acres.

In the last decade, budget shortfalls facing the St. Louis County Parks & Recreation Department, along with increasing competition for public funding, have led to the need for creative solutions to preserve and maintain these important public resources. St. Louis County Parks Foundation is the first and only foundation exclusively devoted to ensuring the restoration and enhancement of all county parklands.
