Empowering Children To Carry A Smile

The My Life in a Bag Foundation serves youth aged 5-21 who may be in foster care, therapeutic foster homes, residential facilities, or group homes in St. Louis, Missouri, and St. Louis County. Our organization’s commitment is focused on enhancing the overall well-being of these youth by providing them with their own luggage or duffle bag filled with essentials, to help decrease feelings of uncertainty, fear, and doubt as they move from one placement to the next. We work tirelessly to improve the lives of youth in St. Louis, and we are proud to be making a positive impact in our community. Youth who are impacted by our foundation will receive new underwear, socks, pajamas, and hygiene kits. We have seen the positive effect it has on the youth firsthand. We have also seen how their self-esteem is elevated, along with their mood.

During Give STL Day we would like to ask for your support and assistance in expanding our reach and impact. Your support would help us to raise awareness of our mission, attract more resources, and increase our capacity to serve the needs of youth in our community. Our foundation would like to offer mentorship and fill a much-needed systematic hole. Your support would not only raise awareness of our organization but also demonstrate your commitment to the well-being of the children in our community.
