Did you know that not unlike black communities throughout the US, 30% of the black community in North St. Louis is living on $5 per day or less?
The Black Power Blueprint programs in North St. Louis are transforming this, including the launching of our most recent project, the Uhuru Bakery & Cafe.
It is bringing healthy, reasonably priced food and employment into the heart of the most impoverished area of North St. Louis.
We are hosting a telethon to support the Uhuru Bakery & Cafe via zoom, this Thursday, May 9th and we are reaching out to all our supporters to ask you to make a donation toward our goal of $10,000.
