Today marks an extraordinary opportunity for us to ignite our power in numbers as part of our Give STL Day fundraising effort and show St. Louis that More WE. More POWER. In an era where every voice, every vote, and every dollar counts more than ever, we're calling on you to amplify the impact of WE and showcase the monumental strength of our collective action.
The power of our community is undeniable, especially in uplifting the voices of Black and Brown residents, leaders, activists, officials, entrepreneurs, and developers. We can illuminate the path toward a more equitable and inclusive future through the concerted efforts of individuals like you
Your donation, regardless of size, paves the way to positive change. Together, we can demonstrate the incredible power in numbers to fund our vital work. Every contribution, every advocate, and every vote counts. Join us in embracing the power of collective action to foster real change and prove there is power in numbers
Thanks to the generosity of a donor, your gift will be matched dollar for dollar. Your $20 donation will become $40, $50 will become $100, and so on.
You can also donate directly to our website in the event that the Give STL Day platform experiences technical issues.

Mission: WEPOWER’s mission is to activate community power to (1) reimagine social systems, (2) develop grassroots leaders' and organizations' capacity as agents of systems change, and (3) provide support with campaigns, coalitions, and innovative initiatives that transform community visions into reality.
Summary: WEPOWER St. Louis is a community of Black and Latine changemakers and entrepreneurs building power to create education and economic systems that nurture the lives of powerful communities that have been historically oppressed. Through education, training, and capacity building, WEPOWER helps residents achieve policy change that strengthens outcomes for kids in their communities; supports Black and Latine founders and neighborhoods working to close the racial wealth gap; and cultivates a new generation of Black and Latine women leaders.
WEPOWER does this by:
Leading Policy Change
- Training community members through power building trainings to lead change
- Cultivating the next generation of public officials through our Chisholm's Chair Fellowship (CCF), specifically focused on supporting Black and Latine women as they explore and consider pursuing publicly elected and appointed office
- Working to elect leaders who remain accountable to their communities
Building Community Wealth in North St. Louis to close the racial wealth gap
- Supporting Black and Latine founders with coaching, connections, and capital through the WEPOWER Accelerator
- Deploying capital to Black and Latine Entrepreneurs in North St. Louis through the $1.5 Million WEPOWER Capital Fund revenue-based investments and zero-interest loans
- Driving policy change for community members to democratically control the business, land, and assets of their neighborhoods
