Freedom Requires Action; Action Builds Power

Hi friends,

This Giving Tuesday, I’m proud to support Action St. Louis, a movement building power and creating a future rooted in justice, equity, and freedom for Black St. Louisans. Their work spans critical areas like housing justice, community safety, and electoral justice—issues that impact us all.

I’m especially passionate about supporting Action STL and its housing justice work because I have had personal experiences with slumlords, and I want to empower families who have been made to feel like their backs are against the wall.  There are options and Action is here to change these outcomes.

I believe that housing is a human right. Action St. Louis is fighting for tenant protections, affordable housing, and policies that keep families in their homes. I also stand with Action St. Louis in building power across all their campaigns - housing justice, community safety, and electoral justice - to create a St. Louis rooted in freedom, equity, and justice.

My goal is to raise 350 by the end of Giving Tuesday, Dec 3rd, 2024 to help fuel their work. Every dollar makes a difference in building power and creating meaningful change in St. Louis.
